Hi I think most people on here were caught by surprise not really feeling ill than finding they actually were its not a nice feeling I know. Have they sorted any treatment out yet. It. Might take a while. From finding C to start kemo took over 4 months for me. What with scans, biopsies. Hope you’re quicker than mine. Good luck.

Oh hun I’m really sorry to hear your news. I hope you’re feeling OK. Take each day as it comes that’s my advice and stay strong.
I was diagnosed just Thursday gone and the waiting for tests, surgery etc is the worst.
What I have found is this site is worth it’s weight in gold and a great source of comfort from people going through the same.

Hi. I have have every test in 7 days. My gp and hospital are amazing. Hated the CAT scan Made me feel like i have peed myself lol. The PET scan was ok. My surgeon hopes to get me in next week. The feeling as right as rein is weird. I had ovarian cancer 7 years ago and at least knew that something was wrong. Keeping my chin up and my smile because that’s just me . I have to noticed that this site is very reassurring and positive.

In the 3 week since finding out ive had all my tests and get my surgery fate this week They gave been so fast . they told me day one that they aim to do everything in 31 days inckuding surgery. I did decline biopsy but my surgein agreed it wasnt necessary.

Not too bad in fairness. Its quite surprising really. Booked in for mine on the 29th May. Meet surgeon on the 13th.

Thank you so much for remembering Its been a crazy 7 week from xray, diagnisis to surgery . Made harder tiday as a close friend had kidney ca cer surgery yesrday morning and passed away suddenly 9 hours later. How are you doing x

Mad few weeks too. Definitely agree with that! My op has been brought forward a week to this Wednesday. Hopefully four weeks after that I’ll know what I’m dealing with.

Hi how are you? Well im 11 days post operation Learning to have less lung. Had my drain stitches out today Surgery done and recovering well. Finding it hard to sit still. Had great doctors and nursing staff. Came home 3 nights later So far feelng amazing xx
