Many people have studied the rich extensively. Almost every trait, habit, mindset, ability of millionaires has been documented. And what I’m about to reveal is what I could call the scientific way of attaining lasting wealth. Majority of millionaires started their businesses from the ground and built them up. These are people who have a dream and constantly visualize its realization. They never rest and work to build their fortunes. If you look around you will see many people you know who have done this. You may be thinking that they were lucky. There is no such thing in business as luck. The third way which 10% of the people use is being a top notch professional. In this category you find doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, pilots and a host of other professionals. You will need to polish your trade. Know your profession very well and establish yourself as a top expert in your niche. The top 5% of these top level experts in any field earn 10 to 20 times more than the average person in the field.

The fourth way is being a sales person or marketing consultant. About 5% of self made millionaires use this route. These people never start their businesses. Some may never have gone to college but they become very good at selling. You may have realized that most sales people earn a commission on the sales that they generate. If you generate $ 10 million in a year and get paid 5%, it’s not that hard to get wealthy. I would like to say that this is the route that has the least entry level conditions. Not many companies will turn down an offer to sell there wares on commission.

The last way that that people use to get wealthy is through inventions, sports, inheritances, lottery and movie stars. These people only make just about 1% of the total. However these people get the biggest media attention. I think out of the skewed media reports, people have come to believe that that is the only way of getting wealthy. Whichever way you want to use to be wealthy, have two things in mind. One, be extremely good at what you do. Never allow mediocrity. Two choose something you enjoy and love.
