Hey all, wasn’t sure whether or not to post but I guess my anxiety is getting the better of me.
I am a 23 year old woman, in generally good physical health. On a few meds for my mental health, other than that I’m okay.
been getting various symptoms and wanted to hear peoples thoughts..
Sep 2019 – Dizzy spells started
Dec 2019 – Right ear pain, discomfort.
Jan 2020 – Spells got worse with Vertigo feeling.
Feb 2020 – Ear symptoms got worse. Had a heat test, have moderate hearing loss in both ears, particularly the right one.
March 2020 – Felt like I was getting an ear infection (right), been on 2 courses of antibiotics and now ear drop antibiotics. Nothing as helped. My right ear is so painful and feels blocked, although it looks clear.
3 weeks ago – Found a lump on my neck, right side, near jaw below my ear. Has continued to get bigger, hard and not painful.
This week – started getting sweats during the day.
Note: I have had on and off deficiency’s in my blood tests over the last year, on and off low in Vit D, Folate and anemia.
Have been referred by ENT for an MRI.
I know im young but I am getting worried now.

I am sorry to hear about your symptoms and the worry they are causing you. I can appreciate your concerned that you might have cancer but your symptoms can be caused by something far less serious.
The changes to your blood is really quite common and for most people doesn’t indicate anything serious is the matter. Low vitamin D levels affects many people across the Northern part of the hemisphere. Low folate levels and aneamia are common in younger women.
You should be reassured that you are going to have a MRI scan which is a really useful type of scan to look at your ear and lymph nodes. Also being referred to see a Ear , Nose and Throat specialist will hopefully mean that you will find out what is the matter.
