Sorry to hear about your friend, if you don’t mind me asking how long have they been given?
I lost my brother 4 years ago and then was diagnosed last year myself.
Cancer is a ***** and doesn’t care about any of us.
The best advice that I can give you is be there for you friend and be yourself.
I spent as much time as I could with my brother and treated him as my brother and not a cancer patient. If he was being an **** I would tell him but at the same time I would help him the best I could.
Be there for your friend laugh, cry and chat together, just be there and be yourself.

Hi Spen,
I’m very lucky to have a very supportive wife who I have talked with. I have also had therapy which was good to unload. I’m not sad anymore I just enjoy my memories of my brother. I miss him like crazy but he didn’t want me to be sad so I won’t be for him.
Do you have someone to talk to and unload? Has you friend made any request for when there gone? I know it’s a ****** subject to talk about, but I found that the more that I talked about it the easier it became.
